Biography

Formed in 1998, Dissolute's earliest influences were 90s hardcore and metalcore bands like Zao, Integrity, Deadguy, Today is the Day, and Converge. As the years progressed, influences morphed into more math type bands like DEP, Keelhaul, and Mastodon. The last few years (2005-2009) saw influence from bands like The Sword and High On Fire. Many EPs were released, with a full length cd, Intermittent Parasitic Oscillation, released in 2005 (Daredevil) and a split 7", Total Harmonic Distortion, with Dissent And Revolt (High Fidelity). A split in ranks in 2008 resulted in several lineup changes and a partial resurrection, but the band finally called it quits in 2010.
