Tripwire, a Mumbai based punk rock band. Formed in 2002 over the last 9 years have performed at almost every venue there is in the culture capitals of India. They have performed at prestigious national events like the Great Indian Rock 9 (delhi)(2004), Independence Rock (mumbai)(2004)&(pune)(2010), Republic Rock(mumbai)(2010), NDTV Greenathon(Mumbai)(2010), Support Anna Concert - Youth for Change(mumbai)(2011), Rider Mania(Goa) (2010) with crowd turnouts of more than 5000. To their credit they have an Album featuring 15 songs and have a vast playlist to last any concert. The band over the 9 yrs of their creative age has concentrated on building literature they can call their own. The band is venturing out for fresh audience, they have recently toured Nagaland for 2 gigs(Hornbill Festival 2011, pub gig at Jumping Bean Cafe) and are looking at gigs with a fresh set of minds to put their music to .
